Injection Molding Machines and Muscle MT-10®

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Matt Quintal. I spent the last 6 years as a maintenance and operations manager for the #1 soft drink producer in the world at a facility in Winchester, Virginia. This plant has 19 - 500 ton or greater Husky Injection Molding Machines.

Upon my arrival, the maintenance spending was upwards of $35,000/month in servo valves alone! We also had numerous other failures on various valves throughout our injection molding machines.

We were introduced to Muscle products through an employee who was also a representative of the company. We proceeded to try this product [Metal Treatment MT-10®] on one (1) older injection machine (around a 10-12 year old machine) that had been having issues. The results were astonishing. We saw an immediate drop in overall hydraulic temperature. We lowered the decibels of the machine by 7. We also saw an increase in reliability and didn’t have any further hydraulic issues.

I have to admit, I was still skeptical, and we decided to dive a little deeper. We took a sister machine (right next to the one we treated), removed all the hydraulic pack and valves. We then disassembled the valves to inspect them. As expected, there was a lot of “gumming” and varnish on pretty much every valve in the system.

We then took the machine that we treated (identical machine) and did the same exercise of removing the entire hydraulic system to inspect. What we found was amazing. There was LITERALLY not one bit of varnish, gum, anything on any hydraulic component in the system.

After that point, we did [treated] another machine, and then another until our entire injection molding department was complete. At the end of this treatment cycle we were able to get to a “0” dollar spent on servo valves. I left this facility in January of this year. I just spoke with the gentlemen that replaced me and they still have not bought a new servo valve.

This product took us from $35k/month to ZERO!

We then treated our entire systems rooms, lowering noise, temperature, and overall wear on equipment. We treated gear boxes, conveyors, vehicles, etc.

I highly recommend anyone and everyone using this product. I am currently in the process of introducing it into my current facility.
