Protective plus for tools

“Muscle Lubricants Firepower FP10. We've long used lubricants intended for firearms on many of our power tools and in other critical applications; the Firepower FP-10 lubricant that Muscle Products Corp. sent us to review has attributes that help explain what that gains us. A firearm lubricant has to handle very high pressures and temperatures, high-velocity propellant blow-by, extremely abrupt metal-on-metal friction, metallics strewn by passing ammunition and enough exposure that oxidation and corrosion are constant threats. The FP-10 recipe cleans metal surfaces of debris (like copper and lead and ammunition propellant powders) by getting underneath, where it bonds with the metal to provide a lubricating jacket that creates a lot more sliding, a lot less scraping. Bottom line: Muscle Lubricants Firepower FP-10 may be formulated as a weapon cleaner and lube, but we like that its talents also provide a protective plus for tools other than our guns.”
