Big Iron Cylinder Repair, LLC of Winchester, VA, began in August 2018 out of the home garage of Patrick and Lisa Galanis. The business experienced so much growth in 2019, they moved to a larger building, which they purchased in 2020, as their business continues to grow.

What they do at Big Iron:

  • Rebuild hydraulic cylinders

  • Manufacture rods and custom driveshafts

  • Repair driveshafts

  • Flywheel turning

  • Line bore heavy equipment

  • Fabricating and welding

  • Work on all heavy equipment, farm tractors and tractor trailers

According to Lisa, “We have our hands in a little bit of everything.”

It’s a Family Operation

Big Iron is a family-owned business - the entire family takes part in their heavy equipment repair and maintenance operation – including the 6-year-old family bulldog. Their mascot, Maggie, loves to sniff and kiss everyone that stops in!

While Big Iron has purchased a variety of Muscle products since April 2023, they use the Power-Lift Grease PL-10™ more than anything.  “It is great for the heavy equipment to keep things greased up.”  They also resell the grease to other companies.
