Add 2 oz. of Fuel Treatment FT-10™ to 5 gallons of fuel. Continue using the oil mixture that is recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Boundary film lubrication is a lubricant between two metal surfaces. The lubricant protects the two metal surfaces that are rubbing together. Muscle Metal Treatment MT-10® enhances the boundary film, allowing the lubricant to flow through the two metal parts easier and with less friction between the metal surfaces. Lubricity refers to the slipperiness of a lubricant and its ability to lubricate. In other words, the more slippery an oil, the better its ability to lubricate.
A cold start is the first time you start your engine after it has remained idle for a period of time. The metal parts become ‘dry’ as the oil drains to the bottom of the engine when it hasn’t been run for a while. Muscle Metal Treatment MT-10 provides additional protection during cold starts, thus the term ‘cold start protection.’ Once the metal surfaces have been treated with MT-10, the parts are protected until the oil warms up and circulates through the system.
